Firm, airline partner to boost Nigeria–Ethiopia tourism

Finchglow Holidays, a leading Nigerian travel and tour company, has partnered with Ethiopian Airlines and Ethiopian Holidays to expand travel access and tourism between Nigeria and Ethiopia. The collaboration aims to offer Nigerian travellers curated tour packages showcasing Ethiopia’s cultural heritage, landscapes, and vibrant cities. A key feature of the partnership is in-country visa facilitation, making travel more seamless for Nigerians.

The initiative is expected to strengthen aviation and tourism links, boost trade, and enhance cultural exchange between the two countries. Finchglow’s Head of Business, Oluwaseun Afolabi, highlighted Nigerians’ growing interest in exploring lesser-known destinations, while Ethiopian Airlines’ Area Manager, Firiehiwot Mekonnen, emphasized Ethiopia’s appeal as a deep travel destination, beyond stopovers.

Two Memoranda of Understanding were signed: one with Ethiopian Holidays for travel packages and flights, and another to streamline visa processes. Bankole Bernard, Group Managing Director of Finchglow Holdings, described the partnership as a reflection of the company’s mission to innovate Africa’s tourism industry and deliver world-class experiences to clients.
